Itinerary:
Day 1
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport in Nairobi, you will be met and greeted
by your Travel Wild representative. Depart for
Naivasha (or Nakuru if using the 5-star
itinerary) and arrive in time for lunch at the
lodge. An afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru
National Park will allow you to witness over 2
million flamingos on the shores of the lake. Be
on the lookout for rhinoceros, giraffe, cheetah
and a host of other wildlife found in the park
before heading back to the lodge for dinner and
overnight.
Day 2
Depart after breakfast, driving past the Loita
Plains and on to the Masai Mara Game Reserve,
arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. In
the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in
the Masai Mara. Predators and prey abound,
providing the rare opportunity to photograph all
of the ‘Big 5’ – lion, leopard, elephant,
buffalo, rhino – in just a few hours. View over
70 species of large animals and more than 470
species of bird. Dinner and overnight at the
lodge.
Day 3
Grab coffee and a quick bite before your morning
game drive. Join hyenas as they scavenge on
last night’s kills and observe the zebra,
wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, lion, warthog and
many other species that populate the grasslands
of the Mara. Return to the lodge for
breakfast. Following lunch, afternoon game
drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4
Enjoy and
early breakfast, then depart back to Jomo
Kenyatta International Airport. |
