Senses Resorts & Spas have commenced rebranding their Evason Hideaway
properties to Six Senses Hideaway. This decision is in response to market
surveys which showed that Six Senses – a group brand that has thus far been
reserved for the Six Senses Spa division, enjoyed high global recognition
and was very indicative of the unique lifestyle experiences offered by the
group’s boutique resorts.
Armani to open residences in Burj Dubai

has been confirmed as the home to Armani Residences in the Emirate. “My

W Hotels to open in Doha
W Hotels
is to open the Middle East’s first W hotel in Doha by mid 2008.
Featuring 291 guest rooms and suites, 156 luxury serviced apartments and
four dedicated meeting rooms, the W Doha is located in the West Bayarea of
the city.
Largest luxury hotel to
open in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi
based National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) owner of the five
star brand Danat Hotels and Resorts, announced today plans for its Capital
Centre development project, due to open 2010. Situated on the Al Khaleej Al
Arabi coastal road, NCTH plans to develop a five-star luxury hotel property
with over 724 rooms, suites and apartments, making it one of Abu Dhabi’s
largest hotel and conferencing facilities.
KSA religious tourism set to rise
Saudi
Arabia’s religious tourism market is expected to grow by about 20 per cent
annually over the next decade, and hotels in Makkah and Madinah are
forecasting strong occupancy rates this year, according to The Rezidor Hotel
Group, which plans to open three new properties in the holy cities by 2010.
IHG announces Holiday Inn global relaunch
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced a worldwide re-launch of the
Holiday Inn® brand family, which comprises Holiday Inn, Express by Holiday
Inn and Holiday Inn Express®. All Holiday Inn hotels will be required to
implement the re-launch programme to create a more contemporary brand image,
increase quality and drive consistency. |
