Kerzner’s Atlantis set for
September opening
ATLANTIS, The Palm will open this September as the flagship resort on The
Palm Jumeirah. It will be the first resort to open its doors on Dubai’s
revolutionary island. Created by Kerzner International Holdings,
international developer and operator of destination resorts, the new 1,539
room resort began accepting reservations February 1.
Atlantis anticipates Middle East residents will account for 30 per cent of
all visitors, with UAE residents expected to make up a quarter of guests
from the region.
Renovation at Genting Hotel, Resort Hotel &
Theme Park Hotel
Genting Hotel, Resort Hotel and Theme Park Hotel will be undergoing major
room renovations with completion scheduled by year end. The Genting Hotel
will subsequently be renamed as “Maxims Genting” with all suite rooms type.
The Resort and Theme Park Hotel upon completion will have a new and modern
3-4 stars room types accommodation to offer. The room inventories will be
substantially reduced for both renovation and to buffer off the noise level.

plc announced its agreement with Start Cruises for the purchase of two of
its cruise ships, Norwegian Dream and Norwegian Majesty for
the sum of $380million. The purchase of these two cruise ships is one of the
most significant upgrades to Louis Cruise Lines’ fleet in its 22 year

UAE Tourists To Malaysia Up By 11.1% In Q1
Accessibility is one of the factors contributing to the increased number of
