UNIQUE CHOICE the
leading Wholesale Tour Operator held their 15th
International GCC Workshop consisting of Hotels,
Tourism Board, Airline and Suppliers. The six day
event kicked off on 28th May in Jeddah
followed by Riyadh, Dammam and arrived Doha on 31st
May the show moved on to the cities of Abu Dhabi and
Dubai in the UAE on the 1st of June. The
delegation was led by Mr. Zawfir Ziard, CEO of
Unique Choice.
The idea was to connect the people from the Travel
trade the good old fashioned way, by creating a
platform to allow the suppliers and the buyers to
meet and to create the personal touch which is so
very important in the Hospitality and Service
industry.
Travel Agents were offered individual country
brochures for Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand,
Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the UAE, which were
bi-lingual and printed in English and Arabic. The
brochures were specially designed and updated
annually to assist the Travel trade partners in
selling the destinations.
There was an increasing interest in the “Cruise”
sector which was previously dominated by the
expatriates but has now shifted even to the local
population where people get to explore different
destinations during the day while sailing in a
luxury cruise during the night with on-board
amenities, both for the adult and the child. The
“Freestyle Cruising” that was once considered a once
in a life time experience is now gaining popularity
with the population and more and more people seem to
be opting for cruises in the Far East through Star
Cruises and Europe through NCL the Norwegian Cruise
line.
The visitors were also witness to an array of
exciting Free Stay vouchers that were gifted through
a Raffle draw ranging from popular UAE and other
worldwide hotels with 2 Grand prizes comprising of a
weeklong stay at different hotels in Malaysia and a
two night Cruise on Star Cruise’s SuperStar Libra
The CEO of Unique Choice, Mr. Zawfir Ziard
emphasized that the increasing amount of people that
have been attending the UNIQUE CHOICE workshop year
after year goes to prove that there is nothing like
adding that personal touch and the growing
commitment to provide consistent and value for money
