Choice in collaboration with our partners Star Cruises &
Singapore Tourism Board organized an Agent Educational Trip to Singapore
& on board Star Cruises – Superstar Virgo.
The familiarisation trip
was organised for the agents from UAE and it was a 7 day tour with 3 nights
in Singapore and 3 nights on board Superstar Virgo. The itinerary on
Superstar Virgo was Singapore – Penang – Phuket – Singapore.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) is preparing to
enter the Middle East Market. The brand will expand its portfolio with two
new properties in the Middle East with Evason Hideway & Six Senses SPA
at Zighy Bay in Oman and Desert Palm Retreat in Dubai which is
scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2007.
Hotel JAL Fujairah UAE.
:JAL Hotels, one of Japan’s top hospitality brands, is set to launch its
first 5 star resort hotel in the UAE. Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort and SPA
is being geared to open in February 2007.
Moevenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea, Jordan: Slight renovation work is
in Progress. There is very limited noise or disturbance to our valued Guest.
Bayview Beach Resort, Penang, Malaysia Refurbishment notice: They are
going to revise slower pace by focusing on 6 rooms per week to minimize
excessive noise disturbance. Rooms surrounding the work area will be blocked
off (top and bottom floors) No
facilities through the hotel will be closed. Everything will be running as
normal.
Royal Plaza Singapore reopens in January 2007: The Royal Plaza on
Scotts’ re-opens in January 2007 after a multi-million dollar total
makeover.
Intercontinental London Park Lane is now open after renovation.
Cruises:

Cruise traffic in Dubai has returned to its 2001 high of 14,000 passengers
and is set to break new levels next year with an expected 60,000 passengers.
Superstar Libra: Following sailings in 2007 on SSR has been scheduled to run 3N Kadmat instead of Goa

Superstar Pisces: Due to winter season, Wet n
Wild Pool and Jacuzzi on Deck 10 aft of Star Pisces will be closed effective

will be opened as normal.
